The Sunny John A “moldering” toilet design that seems to eliminate a lot of the problems of the traditional outhouse and the composting toilet. Composting Toilet for RV’s Composting toilets for RV’s can be a great way to get rid of the black water tank, chemicals, and messy dumping that go with conventional RV toilets. This is Gordon’s homemade composting toilet for his RV. It is simple to build and only costs a few dollars. Gordon passes on detailed instructions on how to build and use the composting toilet, and observations from their many years of using this and other composting toilets. The Wynn’s are full time RVers who converted from the usual black water tank based RV toilet to a compact Nature’s Head commercial composting toilet. The have a half dozen very well done videos explaining installation, using the toilet, prepping the the toilet for use and a very detailed FAQ video. As you can see, the biggest difference between these 3 is storage space. More often than not a compact cube or a is perfect for a very small studio apartment with only one person or a dorm room. If you actually have the space for a midsize refrigerator also known as an apartment size refrigerator then bigger is probably better and the right choice for you. Even though a midsize refrigerator is smaller than a regular size fridge, you should have enough food storage to cook for yourself more than a few times a week.

It’s based on the Berkey ceramic water element filtration system that’s been around for a long time. The ceramic material will filter down to. My primary system has 3 filters and will be used if I need to purify questionable water. From there, you would dispense the water and add 4 drops of non-scented bleach per gallon, let it sit for at least 15 minutes. The bleach will take care of any traces of impurities, then add the bleached water to a 2nd filter system to eliminate the bleach traces.
Worth mentioning is that as long as you are putting in chlorinated tap water from your faucet, you can eliminate purchasing bottled water, because you will have a product that is far better than some of the water out there. AND as long as you are putting in potable water, this system needs almost no maintenance. If you’re using tainted water and the impurities clog the elements, they can be removed and scrubbed with a ScotchBrite under some clear running water, and you’re back in business.
I use my 3-filter device for drinking water AND for cooking, and it’s really nice to have basically free purified water to cook with and not have to worry about a PUR or BRITA filter that just got 1 gallon closer to needing replacement.

The basics are now known: The Republican governor, Rick Snyder, nullified the free elections in Flint, deposed the mayor and city council, then appointed his own man to run the city. To save money, they decided to unhook the people of Flint from their fresh water drinking source, Lake Huron, and instead, make the public drink from the toxic Flint River. When the governor’s office discovered just how toxic the water was, they decided to keep quiet about it and covered up the extent of the damage being done to Flint’s residents, most notably the lead affecting the children, causing irreversible and permanent brain damage.
Citizen activists uncovered these actions, and the governor now faces growing cries to resign or be arrested. Here are 10 things that you probably don’t know about this crisis because the media, having come to the story so late, can only process so much. But if you live in Flint or the state of Michigan as I do, you know all to well that what the greater public has been told only scratches the surface. A few months after Gov.

Cumberland, RI Water without a pump The setup on my Klose offset doesn’t require a pump or air inlet. A well expansion tank is used to hold water under pressure. The tank feeds an on demand water heater and a cold water line to the sinks. There is a 20 gallon grey water tank under the sinks. I normally run with a hose as a water source, but I can get gallons of running water without a hose connected.
Since it’s a pressurized system, no air inlet or pump is needed.

The Right Hose Before heading out of town, purchase a hose certified for potable water. The hoses are usually white or blue and come in lengths ranging from 10 feet to 50 feet. The BPA-free hose walls won’t impart any “funny tastes” caused by chemicals leaching into the water. Using a garden hose, black rubber washing machine hose or other connector that is not certified for potable water may result in leaching of toxins and harboring of bacteria, both of which may adversely affect your health.
Hook Up to Fill Up If you’re filling up to head to a self-contained campsite, hook up your hose to the fill spigot and put it in the larger of the two freshwater hookups, labeled “Fresh Water Connection. Typical plumbing for a kitchen sink includes a drain line and a pair of water lines with shutoff valves under the sink. In most cases, the hot water is on the left and the cold water is on the right. Regardless of the style of faucet, hooking up the hot and cold water lines is relatively easy. Supply lines with integral washers are available at most home centers. Obtain the lines based on the distance from the valves to the underside of the faucet.
Look to the rear of the sink and locate the threaded stems on the underside of the faucets where the supply lines attach.

Troy Francis Troy is a game veteran of a decade’s standing, and a lover of women, literature, travel and freedom. He is also the author of The Seven Laws of Seduction. Visit his website at Troy Francis. I recently spent a week in Las Vegas. As a Brit abroad it was an interesting experience for many reasons, a few of which that pertain to hookup culture I discuss here.
Of course, Las Vegas or the strip, anyway exists only as a site of hedonism, and as such is distinct from other US cities. I know from personal experience that pickup in New York, for example, is a very different proposition. Nevertheless, since Vegas is a place of extremes—-extreme decadence, extreme sexual licentiousness, extreme lavishness, extreme wealth—and it is a kind of mecca for dissolute party-goers, it extrapolates some of the worst or best, depending on your view aspects of Western culture and gives them a setting where they can flourish on a grand scale.
This is a town where the hugest suites with panoramic views and gold baths are available only to those who have hustled hard. Unsurprisingly, something in the air brings out the hustling instinct in the women too.

You must have the B plumb kit. Helps direct the water line directly to an attachable filter sold separately. Since I’m not currently using a Keurig since our iCoffee is working out well for us right now, I do not have this filter kit and have not used it myself. Made from raw organic, high-carbon materials and small, extremely porous granules with high surface area to remove chlorine, tastes and odors, and a wide range of toxic organic chemicals VOCs. Added NSF Food Grade polyphosphate to prevent scaling and corrosion of pipes and equipment due to lime, iron, and other water contaminants by forming a protective film to prevent contaminants from reacting with your equipment.
If I order this filtration kit, do I still need the to order the separate tubing to hook it up to a hard water line? It comes with a small piece of water line but you will need more and a way to connect it to your water source. Just by supplying your daily drinking and cooking water from a Water Ionizer, you can restore a healthy alkaline environment in your body. Millions are spent each year on antioxidizing vitamins such as Vitamin C and E, and enzymes. Yet a glass of alkaline water has more antioxidant power than orange juice! Anti-oxidants prevent cellular and DNA damage by neutralizing free radicals! Of all other types of water commonly available today, ONLY alkaline ionized water is strongly antioxidizing.
Therefore scientists use a method of measuring antioxidants in liquids through the ORP.
